Find out about five exciting events coming to a venue near you. Let’s work together to prepare your young person for a happy and healthy transition to adulthood!
Supporting your teenโs journey to adulthood
- Hosted at venues across the county, the Preparing for Adulthood (PFA events) are designed to connect families and young people to professionals and organizations who can support around the four Preparing for Adulthood pathways.
- These vibrant, interactive events bring experts from education, health, social care, and community services โ right into your local area. With engaging stalls, hands-on activities, and plenty of useful information, the events offer a welcoming space for parents, carers, and young people to explore available support, ask questions, and build connections.
- Whether you're looking for guidance, inspiration, or simply a chance to learn more, these events are here to help make the PFA journey clearer and more accessible.

The Beyond 16 showcase
In addition, families of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are warmly invited to Gloucestershire Beyond 16, a dedicated event to help you explore options and support for life after Year 11.
Whether your child is in Year 7, or above, this is a great opportunity to start thinking ahead and connect with the countyโs education and training providers.
