What is a Community Connector?

I’m here for families, to offer support, share my experience and help families access local resources and services, including those from the National Deaf Children’s Society, while also connecting families with other parents and deaf children in Gloucestershire.

I'm also here to work alongside local professionals, charities, and organisations to help ensure families receive the best possible support.

The National Deaf Children’s Society - what we do

We are here for deaf children aged 0-25 with any level of hearing loss.

We’ll unite you with other families to connect and share experiences.

Whatever your question or challenge, we’ll help you find a way through.

We believe families have a right to make choices about how their child communicates, where they are educated and which technology they use.

Every deaf child is different, and families should be able to make choices that work best for them and their child. We’re here to help families understand all their options.
