This monthly newsletter for families with SEND shares the latest updates, news and developments in Gloucestershire. We are covering topics you tell us are important. In this issue we focus on how we have responded to your feedback with our You Said, We Did report. We look at the new EHCP Annual Review process and are introduced to the new Community Connector at the National Deaf Children's Society. We also note that Gloucestershire County Council’s Children’s Services have been judged as Good with Outstanding elements in its most recent inspection.

County council Children’s Services judged Good with Outstanding elements by Ofsted

Gloucestershire County Council’s Children’s Services have been judged as Good with Outstanding elements in its most recent inspection.  Services showed significant improvement since the last full inspection when they were judged to require improvement in 2022.

During the inspection, which took place from June 9 to 20 this year, the inspection team found the council’s Children’s Services to be Good in its overall effectiveness, with judgements of Outstanding in two of four categories, and good in the remaining two categories. Click to watch the video
