EHCP Service update - improving our communications
Having listened to parents and stakeholders and as part of our aspiration to deliver high quality services for families, children and young people we have been developing improvements in our communication.
In the last update, we told you we were:
- Setting up direct phone lines to someone who can answer your call, we are currently recruiting to progress this and will provide an update when this is live
- Amending our email signatures. Case coordinators share individual contact details with families and managers contact details can be found on each case coordinators email signature and out of office.
- Refreshing awareness of a number of contact points for the service. With all of these we will be happy to receive your enquiry and provide the information you are seeking or connecting you with the best placed person to respond directly to you.
To support our overall points of communication we are pleased to share that we have successfully recruited team members who will take calls on our new central number. This is intended to improve our responsiveness to phone calls and your experience of the service. This phone number is best used for general queries such as asking for advice on requesting an assessment or information about who your case co-ordinator is.
The first and best place of contact is your case co-ordinator who will know you and your child, their email signatories have their contact details and that of their managers.
New central point of contact EHCP service number is: 01452 426922
