Outcomes of the contact to C-SPA

  • Advice is given to the practitioner to follow up and no referral accepted.
  • Referrer requested to obtain consent.
  • An Early Help My Plan or My Assessment and My Plan Plus is required and therefore this referral will be shared with GCC’s Early Help and Targeted Support Service for further intervention to be explored
  • If there is an existing plan in place advice can be accessed from an Early Help Co-ordinator or Community Social Worker as to how this can be enhanced by community partners to ensure the family is supported
  • MASH (Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub) enquiries to be undertaken. Multi agency information share to support decision making.
  • A Single Assessment is needed. The child, young person and their family will remain open to the community based lead practitioner and any service provided should continue while the Single Assessment is carried out by a social worker to determine risk and if it has met the threshold for social care intervention. Communication between the Lead Practitioner and the Social Worker will be vital to ensure the appropriate service provision is maintained.
  • An immediate responses required by Social Care (and/ or the police) to safeguard the child.
