Level of need decreasing and increasing

If the level decreases

  • Discuss with the child and their family and review progress through a review TAF meeting.
  • If needs are fully met, agree whether plan to be closed.
  • Inform Gloucestershire County Council’s Early Help Advice, Guidance and Support service that a plan has been closed.

If the level increases

  • If progress is not being made, review and update the My Plan, access additional Early Help resources and review consent.
  • Consider who else may need to be involved.
  • If the level of need and/ or risk to the child is increasing discuss with your pastoral and/ or safeguarding lead for advice on the Level of Intervention and  whether a My Assessment and My Plan Plus is needed as part of a level 3 response. If yes, discuss with the child and their family and transition from the My Plan as part of a TAF meeting
  • Inform Gloucestershire County Council’s Early Help Advice, Guidance and Support service that a Level 3 response has been mobilised.
