The pilot year of the HAF provided resources which meant that Commissioners in Gloucestershire County Councils’ Children & Families Hub were able to undertake a significant commissioning exercise across Gloucestershire working with a wide range of local providers.

The resources enabled the delivery of a significant programme in the county providing a wide range of activities for children and young people and their families to enjoy. This was especially important as we came out of lock down.

The pilot programme was greatly enhanced by the funding secured through COMF.

This investment also enabled us to invest in building the capacity of the local voluntary community and social enterprise sector, an important outcome for both the DFE and the Council.

We recognise the value and importance of working with organisations already working in local communities across the county and have welcomed their feedback and support to ensure that we build on this provision.

We would like to thank everyone that has worked so hard to help the HAF programme be successful during this pilot year.

Together we have created a solid foundation on which to build for the next 3 years as we grow the HAF project and continue to support children young people and their families across the county.
