Community support grants

Following the Autism Community Support Survey published in November 2021 to gather feedback from families about what community provision (activities, sessions, clubs) they and their children are currently accessing which is autism friendly and meets the needs of their children, the Integrated Care System have been able to offer grants to Voluntary and Community Sector organisations.
Grant applications closed at the beginning of March 2022 and successful applicants have been awarded their grant allocations. The grant provision will allow local organisations to deliver inclusive clubs, activities and support sessions to autistic young people and those with autistic traits, alongside their family. There has been a variety of grants awarded including arts and craft activities, inclusive music sessions and theatres sessions, sports opportunities and support for parents and siblings.
Organisations will be uploading the details of their offers on You’re Welcome and also will be uploaded to the Local Offer, once they are ready to begin these projects.
