Forwards Employment Service celebrates 10 years

Over the past 10 years, our Forwards Employment Service has gone from strength to strength offering 1:1 guidance and support to hundreds of people with barriers to entering the labour market.
We support residents from a variety of backgrounds, including those with SEND and care leavers to help move into a new education setting, training and work.

This year, we are launching the Gloucestershire Connect to Work Programme, offering 1:1 support to 1,000 people annually to move into or retain employment. The programme will run until March 2029, targeting disadvantaged groups, including those with long-term health conditions, disabilities, and caring responsibilities
