Co-production

The SEND LGA Peer review told us:

Co-production needs to be a fourth foundation to the SEND Strategy.

To help ensure that children, young people, parents, and carers are more visibly involved, and their voices are central within individual plans for children and young people, through to strategic planning, including new service and policy developments.

What we have done already:

We have nominated colleagues from education, health and social care who will lead the further development of co-production.

What’s next

We will make sure colleagues across the local partnership understand and receive training on co-production, so that the feedback from children, young people and families is consistently heard and acted upon.
