In this section

1.1       The purpose of these Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs) is to ensure that all Council contracts are demonstrably made:

a) in compliance with the law and best practice;
b) to maximise fairness, transparency and competition;
c) to improve quality and value for money;
d) to enable the Council to develop and deliver its Commercial Strategy; and
e) in compliance with the Council’s Financial Procedure Rules.
