Gloucestershire’s reuse shops are back!
The reuse shops take in donated good quality second hand items and sells them on for a small cost to those looking for a bargain.
To help reduce the spread of Covid-19, both shops are limited to one customer at a time and wearing a face covering is required inside. Hand sanitiser is available for people to use before entering the shop.
Both reuse shops only accept cash payments, and the exact money is preferred to avoid change-giving.
Social distancing measures are in place to help keep visitors and staff safe and crucially anyone with Covid-19 symptoms and those in self-isolating households must not visit.
All trips to Household Recycling Centres and reuse shops must continue to be booked in advance.
Cllr David Gray, cabinet member responsible for waste said: “It’s great that our reuse shops are now open again and available for people to use. I’m pleased so many people are using our Household Recycling Centres at the moment; and I hope the reopening of the reuse shops will help encourage people to think before they throw away perfectly good items.”
