Spring into Social Care
The ‘Spring into Social Care’ event takes place on Wednesday 14 May, from 9am to 11am, at the Social Work Academy, Quayside House, Quay Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TZ.

The county council is keen to welcome:
· people looking to start their career who want to learn about routes into social work;
· social work students who wish to find out more about Gloucestershire’s ‘Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE);
· qualified social workers who would like to know more about working and practising in Gloucestershire;
· social workers who are thinking about a return to social work after a break.
‘Spring into Social Care’ is an opportunity to learn about the different teams and variety of roles available within adults and children’s social care. Attendees will also learn about career pathways and social work practice. Refreshments will be provided.
