Our leadership and culture

Our vision is simple: we make the difference that matters. We are clear about what we are trying to achieve, honest about where we need to improve, and focused on turning learning into better experiences for people.

Over the past year, we have strengthened how Adult Social Care is led and overseen, so we have a clearer understanding of what is happening in day to day work and in people’s experiences. We are using data and feedback more effectively to spot issues early and take action sooner. This is helping us focus on what matters most to people, including access to support, how quickly we respond, and how consistent services feel. Prevention and early help are a key part of this, helping people get support sooner and avoid crisis where possible.

We also know that good leadership should be felt by our staff. That is why we continue to invest in wellbeing, supervision and development, while building our future workforce through apprenticeships, early career routes and recruitment. We are committed to learning, listening and improving together so we can deliver better care and support.
