Direct payment support service providers

If you choose to use direct payments, you can get support and guidance to help get started. As well as support from family and friends, and your social worker, if you choose to be an employer of a Personal Assistant there are organisations that can help you to get started and successfully manage the direct payment.

You can choose your support provider by undertaking an internet search for Payroll Providers and choose one which offers the services you need. Your Direct Payment specialist can provide guidance on this if required.

These organisations can provide help with recruitment and selection, payroll support, this helps you decide the best way of using the money that you receive from the council, known as a personal budget. Support providers may offer different services, so you can choose the one that will offer the best support for you.
