CQC timetable

We received our notification from CQC on 18 March 2024.
The timetable for a CQC onsite visit will be posted here following notification and agreement with CQC.
This will lay out the key dates of the assessment process and the detail of planned interviews, focus groups and other events together with advice for attendees when we have notification of onsite visit.

What is the timeline?
•    Submit our information return by 5 April 2024. The information return is a set of core documents and data and includes our self-assessment.
•    Expect on-site inspection within six months, with six weeks’ notice provided (Update - on 8 July CQC confirmed their intention to start their onsite inspection on 2 September 2024.)
•    We provide CQC with case tracking* anonymised information 10 days after notification from CQC of onsite visit
•    This means that we can expect to be inspected between mid-May and mid-October (Update - now confirmed as 2 September 2024)
CQC assessment - six stage process
1.    Notice of assessment - 18 March 2024
2.    Information return request - 5 April 2024
3.    CQC review of publicly available data
4.    Onsite CQC assessment visit - now confirmed as 2 September 2024. On 8 July we were given 10 days to return case tracking from notification.
5.    Date TBC post inspection - CQC provide draft report and rating
6.    Date TBC post inspection - Final report and rating factual accuracy check and then publicly published
