Five ways to wellbeing

The Five Ways to Wellbeing was a concept developed by the New Economics Foundation as a way of improving the nation’s mental health and wellbeing.

Research suggests that if a person follows the Five Ways to Wellbeing, then they may develop improved mental
health and wellbeing. It may also help with a person’s sense of resilience in combating stresses and challenges
that come up in everyday life The ‘Five Ways’ has been adopted by a number of government agencies, health and social care, mental health charities and workplaces and communities across the country in their practice.
