On 16 and 17 June, we held two public information events at West Cheltenham Fire Station to speak to project representatives and find out more about planned traffic management, current utility works and see archaeological artefacts that have been found on site.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve secured the additional funding needed to deliver the M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme.
This investment will allow us to move ahead with vital transport upgrades that will unlock thousands of homes and jobs, as well as significantly improving road capacity and connectivity.
The newly confirmed £71.5m is additional funding from UK Government’s Housing Infrastructure Fund, administered by Homes England, and will enable us to deliver the full improvements.

On 15th and 16th October, two public information events were held at West Cheltenham Fire Station, which invited the public to talk to Gloucestershire County Council representatives, the scheme construction contractor, the scheme professional services contractor and scheme land agents.
We are planning another public information event in summer 2026.
