Who your data may be shared with

Equalities data such as anonymised data is presented as numbers or percentages relating to protected characteristics. We capture this data corporately for publication on the Council’s website, in order to comply with our legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty 2011. There are no personal identifiers contained within the published data.

We may need to disclose your information with other public services for example, the NHS, social care and Police, but only where this is necessary to comply with our legal obligations or as permitted by Data Protection legislation. We may also need to share data to meet our statutory reporting obligations. This sharing helps us improve our services, prevent and detect crime, and protect individuals from harm where required.

Apart from where previously stated, we do not pass your details to third parties without your consent or unless we are lawfully required to do so.
