How to Apply
For more information on this exciting opportunity, or to arrange a discussion about the role, please contact suzanne.hall@gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Applications should be received before the deadline of midnight on Friday 2nd February.
Step one – register and apply online
All of our positions start with this, and it is a great opportunity to tell us about yourself and what you can bring to the organisation. We understand leaving university or even a career change is a big step in both your career and personal life, so at this point we want to ask you a few further questions to get a better understanding of why you’d like to join us and what you think you can bring to the role. It’s worth spending some time on this section, and answering honestly, as it is our first indication of whether we’ll be a good fit for each other.
Step two – shortlisting and feedback
Once the vacancy has closed, the recruiting manager will assess the applicants and at this stage you will either be successful to move forward to the next stage or informed that you have not been successful at this time. Please do not be disheartened if you have not been successful as there are always future opportunities.
Shortlisting will take place 7-9 February and shortlisted candidate will be informed on Monday 12 February.
Step three – interview and assessment
If you are successful and called for interview, you will be informed of date, time and location of the interview. You will then have the opportunity to tell us about why you wish to become part of Gloucestershire County Council and our graduate program. Remember this is also an opportunity to interview us to make sure we are right for you.
Shortlisted Candidate will be required to take part in short online assessment activities between 12 - 15 February.
Candidates meeting the benchmark after the assessment will be invited to a final interview on Wednesday 28 February, Thursday 29 February or Friday 1 March.
Please note you will not be able to apply until 3 January 2024.
