The major works at the Standish Multi-User Path are now substantially complete and the perimeter fencing has been removed. The new section of the path is officially open and ready to enjoy!

This marks the first phase of the project, so as you reach the northern end of the new path, cyclists should rejoin the road for now.

The design for Phase Two is coming along nicely, and we are aiming to start construction soon, although we do not have a confirmed date just yet.

You might still see a few workers around over the next month as the contractor wraps up some minor finishing touches.
