Consumer Advice

Our principal role is to enforce legislation designed to protect both consumers and traders. Initial advice to consumers who are in dispute with a trader is now the responsibility of the Citizens Advice Consumer Service.

For advice or to report an issue with a trader please contact the Citizens' Advice Consumer Helpline by calling 03454 04 05 06.

We generally only become involved if the dispute is complex or if it reveals a breach of the criminal law.

We give priority to vulnerable consumers.
