Thinksmart - apprentice travel scheme
Helping young people into employment and supporting economic growth in Gloucestershire
Who is eligible?
If you are a resident of Gloucestershire employed in a Gloucestershire apprenticeship and are aged 16-24, you may be entitled to a free Thinksmart bus pass for journeys to and from your placement.
Your bus pass allows you to travel free of charge for up to 100 journeys on local bus services in Gloucestershire over the period of your apprenticeship.
How do I apply?
Both you and your employer need to complete and sign the application form.

What happens next?
We will confirm your eligibility with your employer. If your application is successful - you'll receive a pass in the post in 7-21 days. You will initially receive a 50 journey card. Once you have used nearly all the journeys you will need to contact us for your final card of 50 journeys. Email buspasses@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Just hold your pass against the card reader when you board the bus
