40 & 50 MPH Speed Limits - Spine Road, South Cerney
Gloucestershire County Council is proposing to introduce sections of a 40mph speed limit on the Spine Road East & Station Road and a section of 50mph speed limit on the Spine Road East.
The 40mph speed limit extension is proposed to facilitate the installation of a formal crossing where the active travel link between South Cerney to the north and Cricklade to the south intersects with Spine Road East, which is currently located within a 50mph speed limit.
The 50mph speed limit is being proposed to reduce the extent of the existing 50mph speed limit on Spine Road East to align with the new proposed south-western extent of the 40mph speed limit.
