Experimental Traffic Order - Bus Only Parking Bay, Bourton On The Water
Gloucestershire County Council is introducing an experimental Bus Only Limited Waiting 5mins no return within 30mins 9am-4pm parking bay restriction, using an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO), along a section of Meadow Way in Bourton-on-the-Water.
The experimental restrictions involve a dedicated on-carriageway drop off and pick up facility where two coaches can park at any one time for so long as passengers can board and alight but for a maximum of 5mins and no return within 30mins.
Coaches will then be required to relocate to a long-term off-highway private parking site located at Pulham’s Coach Depot, Bourton Industrial Park.

PLEASE NOTE: A PREVIOUS ETRO WAS MADE FOR THIS SCHEME IN MAY 2025, HOWEVER, DUE TO DIFFICULTIES IN INSTALLING THE RELEVANT SIGNAGE TO MAKE THE RESTRICTION ENFORCEABLE, THE TRIAL COULD NOT BE COMPLIANTLY MONITORED. IT HAS, THEREFORE, BEEN ABANDONED AND REPLACED BY THIS NEW ETRO.
