The Radiation (Emergency Preparedness & Public Information) Regulations 2019,known as ‘REPPIR 19’ are concerned with the preparedness for radiation emergencies.

The regulations were updated in 2019 to reflect international best practice and apply to all nuclear licensed sites across the UK. REPPIR 19, places various duties on both the Operator of Berkeley Site (Magnox Ltd.) and Gloucestershire County Council.
