Why we created Grace

We know that caring responsibilities don't always fit into office hours. It isn't always easy to make a phone call or spend time searching through different websites to find the right information.

Grace makes it easier to get answers when you need them. Available through WhatsApp, Grace is free to use and can help you find information quickly, at a time that suits you.

By bringing together information from a range of trusted sources, Grace helps carers feel more confident about where to turn for support and what to do next.

How Grace works

Using Grace is simple:

  • Send a WhatsApp message or voice note with your question.
  • Ask in your own words, just as you would when speaking to someone.
  • Receive information and links from trusted local and national sources.
  • Ask follow-up questions if you need more information.
  • Return to your conversation whenever you like.

Grace's answers have been shaped by feedback from unpaid carers and are designed to help with the questions people commonly ask.

Grace can help you explore information and understand your options, but does not replace speaking to a person when you need individual advice or support.
