What personal data do we use?

We will collect your personal data in a variety of ways, whether this is via our online or paper forms, from a partner organisation as a referral or from you directly during conversations you have with our services either via telephone, email, in writing or face to face, to be able to deliver the services we provide.

Your personal data that we collect, use and share includes:

• Family and next of kin/interested parties details
• Identifiers, such as National Insurance Numbers or NHS numbers
• Online identifiers such as IP Addresses or cookies
• Lifestyle and social circumstances
• Financial information
• Employment and educational details (including qualifications)
• Residential and right to work status
• Details of any State Benefit receipts
• Housing or social care needs
• Visual images, such as photographs or CCTV recordings
• Location data
• Licenses or permits held
• Student and pupil records
• Business activities
• Details of property (number of bedrooms etc.)
• Above details on individuals living in the same household as the sponsor (or a recommended sponsor) (for Homes for Ukraine scheme)
• Above details on individuals recommended as a sponsor by another data subject providing an offer of help via the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (for Homes for Ukraine scheme)
• Passport details and immigration status of the sponsor (for Homes for Ukraine scheme)

We also collect what is known as sensitive personal information (or special categories of data). This is often information you would not want widely known and is very personal to you, types of sensitive data can include:

• Criminal conviction data (including DBS checks)
• Racial or ethnic origin
• Political opinions
• Religious or philosophical beliefs
