Comparison to the national gender pay gap

The Gloucestershire County Councils gender pay gap is less than the national public sector gender pay gap figures (ONS 2022).

The council has significantly lower figures than the national picture for the public sector. The office of National Statistics Annual Survey of hours and earnings in 2022, reported the public sector mean gender pay gap to be 13.15% and the median gender pay gap as 12.2%.
