Security Classification

Any information that a contractor processes on behalf of the council should be in compliance with the Government Security Classifications Policy.

Any council data that is processed by or on behalf of the Council falls within the category of OFFICIAL or OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE, as defined by UK Government.

OFFICIAL SENSITIVE information should be marked in this way to ensure that individuals and organisations that work with the council can understand the need for further controls to be in place, in particular when it comes to information sharing.
