Gloucestershire Recycles’ ‘ Plastic free festivities’ campaign launches today!

Waste increases by around 30% at Christmas, and plastic waste is no different.
Gloucestershire Recycles are providing tips and tricks for residents to reduce plastic waste this Christmas including giving plastic free gifts, cooking plastic free food and decorating plastic free!
We need your help to make the campaign a success. Please encourage Residents to take part in the campaign by:
- Looking at the plastic they usually buy over Christmas and targeting an area to reduce – this handy waste audit from action on plastic can help
- Subscribing to our newsletters or encouraging a friend to do so!
- Buying a plastic free gift using our guide
- Cooking a low plastic Christmas dinner using our guide
- Decorating in a low plastic way
