Upcoming Member Development
There is a TRO training next week, as well as three new upcoming dates in July for member briefings or training. Meeting invitations have been sent to Councillors. - 7th June 14:00-16:00 TRO training - Hybrid, Cabinet Suite and Teams
At the request of the Highways Transformation Board, an all Members information seminar on Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) will be held in the Cabinet Suite (Shire Hall) on the 7th June 14:00-16:00. This session is there to help Members to better understand the TRO system and will cover how to request TROs, the cost of TROs, the TRO process, how to build a successful TRO application and following the progress of your TRO. There will also be time to answer Members’ questions at the end of the session.
- 5th July 10:00 or 16:00 Concur training - Online, Teams
There are two online briefing sessions with Q&A available for Councillors to find out more about Concur on the 5th July at 10:00 or 16:00. There will also be the option to stay on for more detailed instruction for those keen to start using Concur straight away and we would encourage you to do so. Further online training dates will be available on the following dates :- 10th, 17th and 24th July. Please contact will.wheatley@gloucestershire.gov.uk if you wish to attend one of these additional dates.
- 20th July 14:00-16:00 Highways Transformation Programme Briefing - Hybrid, Cabinet Suite and Teams
Session to update all Councillors on the Highways’ Transformation Programme including the background of the programme, current performance, enablers and workstreams and key progress elements
- 25th July 10:00-11:30 Corporate Parenting Workshop - Online, Teams
This will be a repeat of the corporate parenting training held in April for those unable to attend. This training will also be opened up to District Councillors, please do encourage your District colleagues to attend!
