Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion Knowledge Hub

I am delighted to introduce this new Knowledge Hub, created to offer a single, accessible place for all education settings, parents, carers and local authority colleagues to find training, information and guidance around SEND and inclusion. 

Developed in response to feedback from partners across Gloucestershire, the Knowledge Hub brings together resources that have traditionally been held in different places, making it easier to find the information you need.  

As national policy develops and local priorities evolve, this Knowledge Hub will continue to grow, with regular news updates, announcements, resources and learning opportunities added over time.  

The first phase will be available to early years providers, schools, and post-16 providers, supporting SENCOs, pastoral and inclusion leads, teachers, teaching assistants and other education professionals. 
 
Our aspiration is simple: That Gloucestershire is a great place to grow up, where children and young people thrive and live lives of choice and opportunity, and feel they genuinely belong and are included in their education setting. Achieving this depends on strong, trusting relationships and genuine collaboration across the whole system. As a local authority, we are committed to working alongside all partners, listening, learning and supporting practice, so that together we build a fully inclusive offer for every learner in our community.
