I am a professional....

Discovering you have a pregnant student or expectant father on site may have thrown you into a spin, or maybe you have taken it in your stride. We certainly have the easier side of the deal and so let’s be responsive, efficient and effective and make their experience of being pregnant, or becoming a parent, at school as positive as possible.

The main policy document ‘Gloucestershire’s Guidance for the Support and Education of Pregnant Students and School-Age Parents’ (see below) is a good place to start, it has a lot of helpful information, guidance on the next steps you will need to take, attendance codes, and examples of documents you will need to produce so you can feel confident key areas are covered.

There is no need to worry about any of the paperwork or logistics, we are here to support you through the process and there are editable documents available below to use to save you time.
