The Principal Occupational Therapist is a pivotal role in supporting people to live the life that they want to live in the community, preventing, delaying and/or reducing the need for care and promoting independence.
This role provides senior management and leadership to key areas of social care delivery and plays a crucial role in developing our strategic approach to preventative approaches in adult social care. The Principal Occupational Therapist provides over-arching strategic leadership and support the Council in discharging its statutory functions in relation to the complex range of therapy and prevention led activity across the integrated care system (ICS).
