On Street Parking Order 2017

HAVE YOUR SAY: - This order comes into effect on Wednesday 9th September 2026.

In September 2023, Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) introduced a new parking scheme in Cheltenham, known as Zone 15.

Following the implementation of the zone, feedback was received from residents that the restrictions were not working for them or fully meeting their needs.

GCC commissioned an independent review of the zone to seek feedback from the local community on the implemented parking controls and promote changes which better reflect the needs of the area, residents and businesses.  To view all of the Zone 15 review information, please click on this link https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/zone-15/

Following robust engagement with the community, an Experimental Traffic Order has been made to introduce changes to some of the zone restrictions and allow residents and businesses to feedback prior to GCC making a decision as to whether to make the new restrictions permanent or not.
