Cycle September 2024

A team from the Heritage Hub took part in Love to Ride's ‘Cycle September’, coming top of our leaderboard. A combination of 12 staff members and volunteers got involved in the challenge, improving their health and the planet. One member of staff even learnt to ride a bike!

We also took part in ‘Cycle September 2025’, clocking up 491 miles in 120 rides, saving 156 LB of CO2.

EV Charging: 

Four electric vehicle charging points were installed in Autumn 2025.

Gloucester heritage walking trail and interactive map:

We teamed up with Atkins Realis, Highways England, Voices Gloucester and Gloucester Heritage Forum colleagues to produce a new interactive heritage walking map. It suggests walking routes between Gloucester’s main heritage sites and promotes the city’s forthcoming cycle routes. Click here for more information.
