Chef / Cook (Grade 6)
The Rehabilitation Services Chef / Cook is responsible for providing high quality meals for up to thirty residents under the guidance of the Registered Manager. They work with colleagues and are responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen, which includes menu preparation, cooking nutritious meals, monitoring stock control to ensure stock rotation and ordering supplies as required. They have knowledge of food allergens and special diets to ensure the nutritional safety of our residents.
The Rehabilitation Services Chef / Cook ensures kitchen and food service health and safety standards are met as required by the Care Quality Commission and Environmental Health.
