The Enablement team supports adults in Gloucestershire to live more independently and safely in their own homes and communities. The team works with people who may need extra help to manage everyday tasks, build confidence or stay connected to the things that matter to them
Enablement is short-term, practical support designed to help people do more for themselves. It is usually provided for up to six months, based on what each person needs and wants to achieve. The focus is on building confidence, improving wellbeing and helping people maintain their independence.
The Enablement team offers a wide range of person-centred support at home and in the community.
