General policy provisions

27.1    The GSL Registered Manager is legally responsible for the quality and safety of GSL care.

27.2    Service quality and safety will be monitored through routine quality assurance processes. 

27.3    GSL officers and carers are expected to follow whistleblowing procedures if they are concerned about the conduct or practice of any person involved in providing, monitoring or managing GSL services or about the way in which GSL operates. 

27.4    People using GSL services, GSL officers and carers have the right to inform CQC of any concerns about the GSL service.
