The county domestic abuse needs assessment is completed every three years, with an annual refresh that focuses on the provision of domestic abuse safe accommodation, as part of the statutory duty set out within the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

The scope of the needs assessment in Gloucestershire was widened to not only cover domestic abuse beyond the provision of safe accommodation, but to also include stalking, honour based abuse, forced marriage and child to parent abuse.

The Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment 202424 reviews data for years 2021/2022, 2022/2023 and 2023/24. A range of agencies provided data to contribute the needs assessment.
