Education Psychology Service
As educational psychologists, we use our knowledge of psychology, child development and social interaction to work with parents/carers, schools and other professionals to promote young people's learning and development.
Advisory Teaching Service
Specialist support for children with a hearing, visual or physical impairment or difficulties with communication, interaction, cognition, learning and behaviour.
SEN Casework
The Casework Team manage all the casework involved in the following; Statutory Assessment, production of EHC plans, annual Review and transitional plan process, special school and special centre placement, SEND Tribunals (SENDIST), mediation processes.

Education, Performance and Inclusion
The team carries out the LA's statutory duties relating to attendance, exclusion, child employment and children in entertainment, children missing education and children unable to attend school because of their medical needs.
The team also covers performance and standards.

Working with early years children with learning or development needs, offering early intervention.

Virtual School
The Virtual School is a team of education professionals who work to support the education of Gloucestershire's Children in Care and care leavers.
Hospital Education Service
We work in partnership with parents, schools and medical professionals, to minimise disruption to education and to facilitate transition between hospital, home and school.

Information for parents/carers, teachers and children about the school nurse service
SEND Transport
Children and young people with special educational needs may get help with transport to school or college but it is not an automatic right. An assessment is made of the child's needs and individual circumstances.
