How do we advertise what we want?

  1. Find an opportunity on Find a Tender or receive an invitation from GCC
  2. Register on SAP Ariba if you are a first-time user
  3. Access the opportunity in SAP Ariba
  4. Read the documents, ask questions through SAP Ariba and submit before the deadline
  5. If awarded a contract, complete full supplier registration for purchase orders and payment

SAP Ariba

SAP Ariba is our online system for managing tendering opportunities, replacing ProContract.

  • Registration is free
  • Use the provided link to access the correct opportunity
  • View documents, ask questions, and submit responses in Ariba
  • Register early and check access before deadlines
  • Check junk/spam for Ariba emails

The Central Digital Platform (CDP)

CDP is the government system linked to Find a Tender, used to publish notices and store supplier information under the Procurement Act 2023.

  • Create or update your profile in advance

    • Set up alerts for opportunities
    • Have information ready for procurements

  • You must be registered with an up-to-date profile if awarded a contract

    • Supports publication of contract notices
    • Required to enable contract award

If you need an invite link, contact the named person on the opportunity or the Procurement Support Hub and provide:

  • Company name
  • Contact name
  • Contact email
  • Company address
  • Brief description of the goods or services you provide

To begin, complete the initial registration, of setting up a username and Password (Stage 1)

If awarded a contract, complete and submit the supplier registration form within SAP Ariba, which  includes bank details (phase 2).

Enter your sort code as one single number, with no dashes or spaces.

Frameworks may be used where permitted by Contract Procedure Rules and procurement legislation, including national, collaborative, or locally established frameworks.

Suppliers must usually be appointed to a framework before they can be awarded work through it. New frameworks will be advertised through the usual channels.
