- Register on SAP Ariba if you are a first-time user
- Access the opportunity in SAP Ariba
- Read the documents, ask questions through SAP Ariba and submit before the deadline
- If awarded a contract, complete full supplier registration for purchase orders and payment

SAP Ariba
SAP Ariba is our online system for managing tendering opportunities, replacing ProContract.
- Registration is free
- For Quotes or directly invited opportunities use the provided link to access the correct opportunity
- For Open tendering opportunities follow the link from the Find a Tender - Tender notice.
- View documents, ask questions, and submit responses in Ariba
- Register early and check access before deadlines
- Check junk/spam for Ariba emails
The Central Digital Platform (CDP)
CDP is the government system linked to Find a Tender, used to publish notices and store supplier information under the Procurement Act 2023.

Open Tender Opportunities
If Gloucestershire County Council is running an open tender, suppliers can register directly through SAP Ariba Discovery.
- Locate the opportunity via the UK4 Tender Notice published on Find a Tender.
- Follow the link to SAP Ariba Discovery.
- Register for an SAP Ariba Discovery account, or log in if you already have one.
- Once logged in, search for the opportunity within the RFI (Request for Information) section of SAP Ariba Discovery and submit your response.

If You Are Successful
If you are selected for award, you will be invited to join Gloucestershire County Council's SAP Ariba supplier system and complete the supplier registration process.
Quotation Opportunities
For quotation opportunities, suppliers do not need to register through SAP Ariba Discovery.
If you do not already have a Gloucestershire County Council SAP Ariba account, you will be asked to provide:
- Company name
- Contact name
- Contact email address
- Company address
- Brief description of the goods or services you provide
This information allows us to request an invitation for you to join GCC's SAP Ariba environment.
To participate in a quotation opportunity, you will only need to complete Stage 1 – Account Setup.
If You Are Successful
If your quotation is successful, you will then be required to complete Stage 2 – Supplier Registration, including the submission of your company and bank account details through SAP Ariba.

Registration Process
Stage 1 – Account Setup
- Accept the invitation to join GCC's SAP Ariba environment or Register from an open tendering opportunity link
- Create your username and password.
Stage 2 – Supplier Registration
- Complete the supplier registration questionnaire.
- Provide your company information and bank details.
- Submit the required information through the Proposal and Questionnaire section within SAP Ariba.
Enter your sort code as one single number, with no dashes or spaces.
Frameworks may be used where permitted by Contract Procedure Rules and procurement legislation, including national, collaborative, or locally established frameworks.
Suppliers must usually be appointed to a framework before they can be awarded work through it. New frameworks will be advertised through the usual channels.
