Register of gifts and hospitality

In this section

  1. A register will be maintained by the monitoring officer. The following information will be recorded, based on information reported by employees:-
  • the person or body making the offer;
  • the member of staff to whom the offer was made;
  • the gift or hospitality offered;
  • the circumstances in which the offer was made;
  • the action taken by the member of staff concerned; and
  • the action taken (if any) by the Directors (or in the case of Directors, the Chief Executive).

Where a suspected breach has been reported a formal investigation will be undertaken and recorded.
