These webpages formed the Adult Social Care Self-assessment published in July 2024. The information contained within them reflects this, so please be aware that it is historical and some details will now have changed.
The Health and Care Act 2022 gave the Care Quality Commission (CQC) new powers to provide independent assessment of care at a local authority and integrated care system level. On 18 March we received our CQC Assessment notification, and on 8 July CQC confirmed their intention to start their onsite inspection on 2 September 2024.
