The groundwork for this self-assessment was done through a collective use of the Local Government Association toolkit and acknowledgements are due to the many stakeholders in Gloucestershire and beyond who have contributed to it, including:

• People who use our services and their unpaid carers including those active in our partnership boards and those who respond to surveys and given other feedback, for example, through Healthwatch
• Colleagues across Adult Social Care including those frontline staff on our Employee Voice Group, Integrated Commissioners and our Adult Social Care Management Team
• Our corporate strategic leadership team and colleagues across the council
• Partners and providers including those from Gloucestershire Care Provider Association and those on our provider forum
• Members of the council, including the Cabinet Members Adult Social Care and those on the Adult Social Care and Communities Scrutiny Committee who have contributed to masterclasses considering our self-assessment
