Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO)- Parking Restrictions - B4224, Bibury

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is introducing an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) on the B4225 within Bibury. The ETRO will include the following restrictions:

  1. No Waiting/No Loading at any time restrictions; and
  2. No Loading at any time restrictions on top of some existing No Waiting at any time restrictions; and
  3. A Loading Only restriction between 10am – 4pm  with a time limit of 10 mins No return within 1 hour.

The restrictions are being introduced to address traffic management concerns and ease the expected high visitor numbers predicted within 2026/2027.

By using an ETRO, GCC can monitor the effect of the new layout and make changes as appropriate if the initial restrictions are deemed ineffective.
