You have a right to request that the council corrects any data we hold about you that you feel is incorrect. If you feel that you have not been given all the information you requested, please contact the Information Management Service in the first instance.

If you are unhappy with the outcome of this, or if you believe the Council has breached someone's information rights, you can appeal to the Council through its Information Compliance Complaints Procedure (PDF, 131.1 KB) or you can appeal to the Information Commissioner. The Commissioner's staff will look into the matter on your behalf.

How do I complain about the response I have received?

In the first instance, if you are unhappy with the response that you receive, you can complain or ask for a review of your request by writing to us within 40 working days of receiving the response.
