Come and speak to one of our team and an experienced foster carer about how fostering can work for you. There'll also be some information that you can take away to read in your own time.

Ninety five percent of people who attended our introduction to fostering with Gloucestershire County Council rated it either excellent or very good. Here are some of the things they said they found most useful about it:

"All of the session! It was made better as you both had experience of fostering and were able to give great insight. Suzy made sure that everyone was always included. Both Suzy and Sara worked brilliantly together to provide an atmosphere where I felt at ease and not afraid to ask questions - superb team!"

"I found it extremely informative but in a very accessible and non overwhelming way."

"Hearing personal anecdotes. The overview of the process. The different types of fostering. The support network and relationships with social workers and birth parents."

"Being able to ask questions and listen to other people's views who are in the same situation as you."

"Open and honest evaluation of what is involved in fostering. Also the opportunity to ask questions and the helpful responses provided."

"Having someone currently doing the job with Gloucestershire on the session to give 'real life' insights into how it all works."
