K4K take on Jolly Nice for festive fun!

Published
On Friday, 5th December we held our Christmas event for our amazing K4K'ers at Jolly Nice in Stroud.

Kids4Kids (K4K) is our dedicated group for the birth children of our foster carers. They play a pivotal role in the fostering household, and K4K allows them to meet with others in similar situations, allowing them to feel connected, supported and appreciated.

Our final event of 2025 was one worth waiting for, as we headed over to Jolly Nice for an evening of activities. 24 children and young people took to the ice to show their skills off at the rink, and they also had the opportunity to meet and feed some of the wonderful reindeer!

Despite the chilly weather, everyone had lots of fun, and got to keep toasty and warm as they cooked their marshmallows on the roaring fire.

Other K4K events this year have included a Halloween Party, Picnic and Play, Go Ape and Bugsboarding.

We're already busy planning our events for 2026 and are looking forward to making more memories with these amazing children and young people who share their families and homes with our children in care.
